Joseph Leonardi, CMC, AAC, Assistant General Manager, St. Andrews Country Club, has built a career spanning executive chef leadership, culinary operations, and senior club management.
Leonardi currently serves as Assistant General Manager at St. Andrews Country Club. He joined the club in 2023 as Director of Culinary and stepped into the Assistant General Manager role in July 2024.
Prior to St. Andrews, Leonardi spent seven years as Director of Culinary Operations at The Country Club (Brookline, Mass.). Before that, he served as Executive Chef of the Somerset Club in Boston for nearly a decade.
Leonardi has competed and led at the highest levels of international culinary competition. He served as captain of the American Culinary Federation Culinary Team USA in 2012 and later as team manager in 2016 at the Internationale Kochkunst Ausstellung in Erfurt, Germany. He was also a member of the 2008 ACF Culinary Regional Team USA that earned gold in the cold-food salon and ranked first overall among 62 teams.
Leonardi holds associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees from Johnson & Wales University. He is a Certified Master Chef and curator of Leonardi Apiary & Gardens.
