Perry Kenney, CCM, grew up in New Jersey and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. He then moved to Florida, where he began his club industry career at Sawgrass Country Club.
A creative industry veteran with exceptional leadership skills, Kenney has spent the past 19 years leading Sawgrass Country Club, serving as Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Director, Clubhouse Manager and now, Assistant General Manager.
Kenney has been instrumental in multiple renovation and capital projects, driving food-and-beverage revenues and attracting younger families to the club. His high focus on member interaction and personal connection solidified his place on the team.
Over the years, Kenney has been featured in multiple articles by Club + Resort Chef. He presented an Ice Carving Demonstration at a Chef to Chef Conference, and he was invited to be guest speaker at Golf Now innovation day.
