David Daddezio, PC1, is Executive Chef of the Vicmead Hunt Club and Bidermann Golf Course in Wilmington, Del. He has been at those properties since 2016, after three years as Executive Chef of Waynesborough Country Club in Paoli, Pa.
Prior to taking his position at Waynesborough, Chef Daddezio spent eight years as Chef d’Cuisine at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa., where he helped the club’s successful hosting of the 2013 U.S. Open, executing a marketplace-style, grab-and-go concept for a large members tent that was attached to the clubhouse and from which 3,000 to 4,000 items were served each day.
While at Merion, Chef Daddezio was also a Lead Chef when the club hosted the 2009 Walker Cup.
Prior to beginning his career with private clubs, Chef Daddezio served as a Chef and Kitchen Manager for Buckley’s Tavern and Brandywine Heritage Restaurants in Centreville, Del.
Chef Daddezio earned his CIA ProChef1 Certification from the Culinary Institute of America’s San Antonio, Texas campus in 2012. He has been an annual participant in the Philadelphia-Vicinity Club Managers Association Trade Show’s Iron Chef Cookoff, winning the Iron Chef Award in 2012. He is also a member of the Philadelphia-Area Chef to Chef Association.
A “Chef to Chef” interview with Chef Daddezio appeared in the January 2019 issue of Club & Resort Business magazine (“Inspired Performance”). He was also interviewed as part of Chef to Chef’s “Beyond the Plate” video series.
Chef Daddezio is a six-time attendee of the Chef to Chef Conference, and this is his first time appearing as a Conference presenter.
