Brian Beland, CMC, is the Executive Chef at the Country Club of Detroit (CCD), where he has celebrated over 20 years of culinary excellence.
Beland’s journey with CCD began in 1999 when, as a Hospitality Business student at Michigan State University, he secured an internship that would shape his career path. Over the years, Beland has developed CCD’s culinary program, combining traditional cooking techniques with global flavors, while fostering an environment of growth and opportunity for young chefs.
In addition to his executive role at CCD, Beland serves as Department Chair and Chef Instructor at Schoolcraft College, one of the country’s top culinary programs. His dual responsibilities at CCD and Schoolcraft have enhanced his leadership and teaching abilities, bridging the gap between education and industry experience.
Beland’s commitment to his craft, mentorship, and continuous improvement defines his lasting impact on the club’s dining experiences and the culinary community at large.
