Beth Cosgrove is the Executive Chef of Palmetto Bluff Club (Bluffton, S.C.), where she leads a large, multi-outlet culinary operation serving one of the country’s most expansive luxury club and residential communities. In this role, Cosgrove oversees diverse dining concepts and teams while maintaining consistent standards across a property that serves thousands of members and guests.
American-born and educated, Cosgrove brings nearly two decades of international culinary experience spanning Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. She began her professional career after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America and went on to build a globally varied résumé that includes leadership roles in Hong Kong, Dubai, Shanghai, the Bahamas, and Amsterdam.
At Palmetto Bluff, Cosgrove blends her international perspective with a deep respect for Lowcountry traditions, grounding her menus in regional ingredients, historical context, and thoughtful research while keeping them accessible and relevant to members. Her food often reflects subtle global influence, shaped by years of immersion in Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines.
Cosgrove is known for her direct, disciplined leadership style and her ability to lead diverse, multicultural teams with clarity and empathy. She places a strong emphasis on consistency, staff development, and collaboration—particularly within young and international kitchens—believing that standards are built through repetition, coaching, and shared accountability.
In October 2025, Cosgrove was featured on the cover of Club + Resort Chef (See Consistency as Craft), which highlighted her approach to consistency as a craft and her impact on Palmetto Bluff’s culinary culture.
Today, Cosgrove is focused on building sustainable culinary systems at scale, developing talent, and continuing to evolve Palmetto Bluff’s dining program with intention, creativity, and consistency.
