Andrew Haapala, Executive Chef of The Country Club of Virginia (Richmond, Va.), has over 20 years of experience cooking and managing kitchens in great clubs in the Mid-Atlantic, including Baltimore Country Club, Chevy Chase and Myers Park Country Club, working his way up the brigade until he became the Executive Chef at the Peninsula Yacht Club. Currently serving as the Executive Chef at The Country Club of Virginia in Richmond, Va., Haapala leads the brigade in the club’s six kitchens, focusing on special events.
